Seeking prayer

I often wonder what to pray for or better yet how to pray. I also wonder why someone might not want people to pray for them. Some people I feel let  their pride get in the way of asking  for prayer from strangers through facebook. I am just wondering, why people are afraid to have their name mention for prayer on a social media, and why would anyone doubt that prayers are being said in their behalf, How can on honestly say that someone is not praying for them when they post on social media that prayers are sent. I feel some people need to realize,that  you as a person have nothing to be a shamed of when you ask for prayer. I believe that a person that ask for prayer through a social media, like face book is a very strong person. It takes a strong person to know that they can not face the situation whatever it may be alone, nor should they have to. So the next time you need prayer for whatever reason please do not be afraid to reach out to others. For you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.
