This book is about a girl named Meghan Chase. It takes place in a town in Louisiana. She does not realize that her father is from a place called Nevernever. Meaghan Chase has gone into Nevernever to get her little brother back, from the Iron King. Meghan Chase is half-fairy and have human. her father is the king of the summer fairies.
