We are home from the Hospital

Since, we have came home from the hospital. Adrian for the most part is back to being himself. My son Adrian has Down Syndrome, having a child with Down Syndrome can be a very trying with all the medical issues that arise from just being born with an extra chromosone. For my son this one little chromosone has caused him to have to undergo more surgeries than a typical child would have to go through. The first issue with my son was his heart. He under went heart surgery at 5 months of age. My faith was tried at that time. I spent a lot of my time in what they call the Meditation room in prayer, on the day of my son Adrian's heart surgery. Well, he pulled through with flying colors that day. Today at the age of 15 years, he still is going strong, without heart medication. But my son still has had battles that has to be over come. One is that his commuciation is not what it should be. My son does not hear well and as everyone knows if one does not hear well than they are not going to...

Adrian is in his hospital room

Adrian is doing good. He keeps taking his eye patch off. Right now Adrian is completely blind not being able to see out of his good eye. I wish I could take his place so he would not have to go through    this. His hospital room is crowded. Which means I and his Sister Angela are going to have a rough night.

My son today is having Retina reattachment done for the second time. At his last eye doctor appointment, the doctor notice some scar tissue that was causing his retina to detach again. The doctor said that, he would have to go in and remove the scar tissue to reattach the retina. He is a picture of my son after being sedated.
